　　To break the form is differ from the past, this time we adapt an idea from “Taipei” to seek the unique characteristics of it. Taipei is a multicultural city that brings people from different parts of Taiwan and abroad. In Taipei, working hard, chasing dreams, grand tour, unlimited imagination and infinite possibilities are happening all the time. This is Taipei, a city of “Mix”.

　　Accordingly, the 2020 Taipei New Year's Eve party will use "Mix" as the core concept to bring out the feature of "diversity" of Taipei. This year’s performance will be unprecedented, and it will be a cross-border mix and crossover from different genres and fields to generate the new sparks!

Core concept “MIX” Taipei is the biggest CROSSOVER

　　Crossover = crossing boundaries, overcoming, surpassing, intersecting, and fusing. The theme will be interwoven into a series of new year events, stage shows, incorporated into businesses, and marketing events. We hope to derive unexpected mixtures from Taipei’s multiple layers, to create sparks by blending the different features, and to deliver an unprecedented “Mix” of performance, visual presentation, installation art, performance art, community, tech, design, etc. The 2020 New Year’s Eve party will be the product of the collaborated effort of masters and artists from different specialties. Each performance will be solely created and designed for Taipei's 2020 New Year's Eve Party. Different features and elements will clash and merge to create a truly unique entertainment experience. Release the strongest crossover forces to shake the world and make Taipei shine!

Visual director, Joe Fang, visual director of Golden Awards ceremonies

　　The renowned visual designer Joe Fang (方序中) will be taking assuming the role of visual design director. Inspired from the theme “Mix”, Taipei is a diverse, rich and lively place. There are many different lifestyles to choose from, and we can combine them in our own way. This process is just like picking burger ingredients, which make people savor in it. Layer by layer of ingredients, the sweet and sour taste, and finally the blends in the mouth, and all of these symbolize everyone's life in Taipei. Accordingly, the layers and depth can be represented by the toppings of “Hamburger” to show the charm of Taipei. Namely, its’ fascinating streets, convenient public transportation, friendly parks, exuberant night markets represent in the hamburger’s layers. The light bulb and music record, representing creativity, are like the cheese and ketchup on a hamburger. These all “Mix” together to create a unique Taipei burger!
